Delete your GoGetup account

Effective October 16, 2026 · For the GoGetup mobile app, managed by Xernext

You can delete your account and everything in it whenever you like. The fastest way is inside the app; if you can't open the app, ask us by email and we'll do it for you.

01 Delete it in the app fastest

Open GoGetup and sign in.
Go to the Progress tab and scroll to the Account card.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

It happens immediately and cannot be undone — there is no recovery window.

02 Can't open the app? Ask us by email

Write to support@gogetup.app from the email address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my GoGetup account". If you signed in with Google, use that Google account's email. We may reply once to check it is really you, then delete the account and confirm by email. We aim to finish within 30 days, usually much sooner.

Please don't send passwords, photos, or health details in the email — the address and the request are all we need.

03 What is deleted

Your profile, goals, targets, and preferences
Every meal, water, weight, and fasting log, and your reminders, medications, and weekly tasks
Your meal and scan photos, and your blood reports and the values read from them
Your diet plans and shopping lists, saved corrections, badges, and streaks
Your Circle membership and friend connections (friends simply stop seeing you)
Your feedback messages stored in the app, and your sign-in itself (email or Google link)

04 What can remain, and for how long

Routine backups at our hosting provider, if any, are overwritten on the provider's normal schedule; we keep no separate copy.
Anonymous usage and crash data already held by Google Firebase follows Google's own retention periods. It is tied to a random ID, not your name or email.
Emails you sent to support are kept as long as needed to help you and meet legal duties. Ask us in your request if you want them deleted too.
Data already processed by our AI, ad, and email providers follows their own policies (see Section 3 of the Privacy Policy).

05 Want to keep the account but remove some data?

Delete a single meal, report, reminder, or task with a tap where you see it.
In Progress → Your data, switch off location, learning from your corrections (and tap "Forget it"), and usage analytics.
Download a copy first with Progress → Export everything.
